During this four-day intensive training, you will:
• Become certified to teach American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) courses
• Learn and teach AHA Heartsaver CPR AED First Aid programs
• Complete the AHA Faculty Instructor Development Course
• Bridge over to the American Red Cross and assist in an Instructor Course
• Become certified to teach Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) courses
• Become certified to teach Red Cross CPR AED & First Aid programs
• Master the skills and leadership tools to conduct Instructor Training Courses for both organizations

Upon successful completion of this training, you will be eligible and authorized to independently teach Instructor-level courses for both the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross — either on your own, under your company, or as part of an organization.
There are no additional monitoring or minimum teaching requirements beyond this course, as long as you are already an Instructor with either the AHA or Red Cross.
This means you can immediately start training and certifying new instructors once you complete this course.
