Course Overview:

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED courses. To participate, you must:

• Possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent.
• Be at least 16 years old on the last day of the instructor course.

Upon registration, please review and follow the directions in the email attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content, a skills session, and classroom segments. The online material must be completed before attending the classroom activities. For more details, refer to the attachment provided when you register.

Course Format:

Online + Classroom

• The online portion requires a laptop or desktop PC and will not work on cell phones, tablets, or iPads.
• You must bring your laptop to class for teachbacks using your own PC.
• If you need assistance or cannot bring your own device, please contact us to use a laptop provided at class time.

Certification:

• Accessible anytime through your Red Cross Account.
• Includes a unique ID and a QR code to meet employment requirements, allowing employers to easily verify your certification.

No need to carry your printed certificate around anymore!

Important Notes:

• If the online course is not completed by the class time, or if you do not have a valid CPR/AED Certification from the Red Cross or the American Heart Association, you will be required to reschedule and pay a reschedule fee of $150.00. There is No Refunds on Instructor Training Courses. We can allow you to reschedule for another course that works best for you 3 days before the course without paying a reschedule fee.
